I am privileged to have won two college wide teaching awards: the Silver Anniversary Award for Excellence in Teaching (2007) and the Gene Budig Award for Excellence in Teaching (2016).

I also teach a popular class at the University of Kansas called “The Sociology of Taylor Swift.” I would love to be in contact with other educators who are discussing the art and celebrity of Taylor Swift in their classrooms.
